My figurative work explores the full range of human experience through the language of the body. While portrait sculpture captures individual faces, these pieces tell stories through posture, gesture, and the expressive power of the human form itself. From classical draped figures to raw, exposed vulnerability, each sculpture captures a moment of profound emotion. Despair. Triumph. Anguish. Contemplation. Joy. The body speaks what words cannot. Working in water-based clay with professional Bronze finishes, I create surfaces that range from traditional bronze patinas to bold colored waxes—rich oranges, warm ambers, verdigris greens. Each finish is chosen to enhance the emotional content of the piece. A figure in despair might wear dark, aged bronze. A moment of transcendence might glow with warm copper or vibrant color. These sculptures draw inspiration from classical traditions while remaining deeply personal and contemporary. Some echo ancient Greek and Roman forms—draped cloth, contemplative poses, timeless gestures. Others are raw and modern, exploring vulnerability, struggle, and the human condition in ways that feel immediate and urgent. Each piece is a narrative frozen in bronze, a story told through form.
